Hydraulic Grapples
Gulfstream Services' offshore grapples perform subsurface removal of all debris associated with a downed platform including conductors.
The grapples can be used individually or as part of Gulfstream Services' patent-pending dual grapple system. The system consists of a spreader bar, two grapples, a double drum hose reel, and power pack.
The spreader bar allows grapples to be positioned from an 8 foot center to a 32 foot center. This system creates a more managable center point in the removal of platform legs, conductors, and pipelines with excessive lengths.
Through hydraulic and mechanical means, the racking system allows grapples to be positioned without the use of a vessel's crane.
The grapple package comes complete with all supplemental pieces of equipment - double drum hose reel, power pack, tool house, and grapple racking system.
