GSI 6-5/8” Full Hole Torque Through Swivel

As part of Gulfstream’s full suite of equipment we can now provide a 6-5/8” Full Hole Torque Through Swivel. Working in conjunction with the Ball/Dart Pumping Head, this portion of the tool package is perfectly suited to rotate and reciprocate drill string with top drive while pumping. The pumping inlet manifold does not see the drill string weight but sees only the weight of the pumping line attached from the rig floor. The flow manifold inlet is 3” 1502 with 2-3/4” internal diameter.

At Gulfstream’s request, T.H. Hill Associates engineers performed a Mechanical and Design Review verifying the tensile and tortional yields and pressure ratings asserted.

To verify these results, Stress Engineering of Houston, TX pull tested each 6-5/8” Full Hole tool assembly to 3,000,000 lbs. An internal pressure test of 15,000 psi was performed on each tool. This gives a combined safe working load of 2,000,000 lbs and 10,000 CWP.
