Hydraulic Shears
Gulfstream Services offers a variety of hydraulic shears and blade options for the decommissioning of offshore structures.
The four sizes of hydraulic shears owned by Gulfstream Services provide a durable and cost-effective salvage advantage during decommissioning, minimizing vessel costs and diver exposure.
OSS 20 is a 20-ton universal shear that is utilized for surface and subsurface decommissioning of platforms, conductors, rigs, pipelines, docks, and bridges.
OCC 20 is a 20-ton shear that is specifically geared to cut multi-string grouted casing.
MCO 15 is a smaller 15-ton shear used for the decommissioning of surface and subsurface platforms, conductors, rigs, pipelines, docks, and bridges.
OSS 7 is the smallest shear at 7 tons, allowing access to tight areas and the use of smaller cranes. The OSS 7 is used in shearing platform stuctures, pipelines, surface production tubing & casing.
All of Gulfstream Services' shears come with five positioning slings that reduce top-side rig down time and allows subsurface angles to be manipulated more closely - regardless of a horizontal or vertical cut.
Each shear comes with a Gulfstream Services maintenance program and 24/7 onsite technical support.
